We like to call this our Sensing Module #1. This is a plug and play payload module designed for our Picosat Carrier board and Micro:bit microcontroller platform.

In a small package that can be slotted easily into our Carrier Board, you can immediately begin sensing the environment with ease with the Micro:bit platform. Nevermind alligator clips and figuring out if the wires are connected or not. Fewer parts means faster setup means more time on the lesson.

This sensor carries:

• MQ4 Gas sensor - Can detect Methane (CH4) / Natural Gas.

• Humidity sensor - Measures moisture content in the air

• Photo diode - Detects the amount of light in the environment.
